INDIA – WHERE TO GO AND WHEN TO COME?
Exploring India
India is exceptionally rich and diverse in history, culture and landscapes. Accordingly, it offers a traveller all it needs. With multiple 16000 ft high mountain ranges in the North, incredible strong forts and playful palaces in the West, off the beaten path rural spots in the East and lush greenery and relaxing beaches in the South you can experience a wide range of unique places and adventures.
Even the climate can’t be generalised. While the monsoon covers most of the country from June to September, the winters can be moderately warm and dry in the South and central India but cold and snowy in the mountainous North and Northeast. Therefore, the weather is an important factor to consider, while picking the best time to visit India. Not to forget the Indian festivals also play a large role in deciding your travel plan and itinerary.
Here is a detailed overview of what the weather would be like each month in India, in different regions of the country, feel free to explore.
January | February | March | April | May | June | July | August | September | October | November | December

I travelled alone in Punjab, Rajastan and Mumbai for about 3 weeks. The entire trip was organised by India Someday according to my wishes. I had different activities in the different cities but also enough free time for myself. The trip was perfectly organised and I always had the feeling that I was well looked after. I met several great people and especially the women I talked to (like Sashi at the cooking class or the guides Khushi and Yash) were impressive. But also talking to the drivers about their jobs, education, religion, families and worries left a strong impression on me. It was my first long-awaited trip to India and I was glad to have India Someday behind me. Starting with Viveka, who realised my wishes (and who I met last in Mumbai), Joynel with the travel documents and of course Aaliya, who looked after me throughout the trip and helped me quickly and easily with the hotel change in Mumbai. I felt very well looked after the whole time. THANK YOU to the India Someday team!

I gave India Someday the challenge: 7 cities in 12 days. A guide at each stop and all at a good price.
And they totally pulled it off! I was able to plan everything in German with Adina, which made things super easy. Any changes I wanted were taken care of right away, no fuss. They even handled the e-visa for me. It really was a smooth, all-in-one service.
During the trip, we were in great hands with Aliya, who always made sure we found our way through the train stations and got to our accommodations without a hitch. Even little hiccups—like forgetting an AirPod at a hotel—were sorted out quickly.
Big thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable trip to India. I can 100% recommend you guys!
