INDIA – WHERE TO GO AND WHEN TO COME?

Exploring India

India is exceptionally rich and diverse in history, culture and landscapes. Accordingly, it offers a traveller all it needs. With multiple 16000 ft high mountain ranges in the North, incredible strong forts and playful palaces in the West, off the beaten path rural spots in the East and lush greenery and relaxing beaches in the South you can experience a wide range of unique places and adventures.

Even the climate can’t be generalised. While the monsoon covers most of the country from June to September, the winters can be moderately warm and dry in the South and central India but cold and snowy in the mountainous North and Northeast. Therefore, the weather is an important factor to consider, while picking the best time to visit India. Not to forget the Indian festivals also play a large role in deciding your travel plan and itinerary.

Here is a detailed overview of what the weather would be like each month in India, in different regions of the country, feel free to explore.

Testimonials

  • We can highly recommend the organization and travel support by Adina and Aaliya. They always had an open ear for us and were able to find a solution to any problems. Especially when we got sick, there were some challenges, but thanks to their support we were able to master everything well. Thanks again for that!

The accommodations booked were all to our complete satisfaction, and we always felt well looked after.

Big praise also to our driver Gajendra Singh, who took us safely from Delhi to Jaisalmer. Likewise, our driver Narendra Singh was a very safe driver who was always dedicated and courteous – we can only recommend him too.

Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

I was planning to travel to India and was looking in the Net for guidance and found INDIASOMDAY. I liked what I saw especially the comments I read so I wrote to them and asked them to arrange a trip in Rajahstan which would take about 2 weeks and give me an estimate for a complete serviced trip. The offer I got was a trip with my own driver and car, all accomodations including breakfast and at the most important sights also guides. The price was very fair and in hindsight I must say even more than that as I made a foolish mistake in my further planning after this trip and INDIASOMEDAY managed to change the sequence of my route without any additional cost to me and without any impact to my enjoyment of my trip. One could not ask for better service. The accomodations were very good, the guides were very knowledgeable not only about the monuments but they also were people it was fun to talk with in general. I could not have chosen a better company to arrange a trip in India.
