INDIA – WHERE TO GO AND WHEN TO COME?
Exploring India
India is exceptionally rich and diverse in history, culture and landscapes. Accordingly, it offers a traveller all it needs. With multiple 16000 ft high mountain ranges in the North, incredible strong forts and playful palaces in the West, off the beaten path rural spots in the East and lush greenery and relaxing beaches in the South you can experience a wide range of unique places and adventures.
Even the climate can’t be generalised. While the monsoon covers most of the country from June to September, the winters can be moderately warm and dry in the South and central India but cold and snowy in the mountainous North and Northeast. Therefore, the weather is an important factor to consider, while picking the best time to visit India. Not to forget the Indian festivals also play a large role in deciding your travel plan and itinerary.
Here is a detailed overview of what the weather would be like each month in India, in different regions of the country, feel free to explore.

A great thanks to IndiaSomeday for organising a 3 week itinerary in India for myself and my wife.
We wanted a personally tailored tour to visit Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur.
Sunil at IndiaSomeday listened to our objectives and preferences and proposed an itinerary which we then fine honed via multiple conversations and emails until we had just what we wanted.
During the tour Aaliyah ensured everything stayed on course, including quickly re-arranging transport from Jaipur to Jodhpur when our Indigo flight was cancelled with very little notice.
What an amazing service from IndiaSomeday, and I would recommend anyone to use them for a tour in India.June 27, 2019

Abbas and his team coordinated the travel experience of my dreams, customized to fit myself and my traveling buddy. Very few glitches—none of which were the fault of India Someday—and when there was a glitch, they were there, by phone, immediately to help. This included an issue on a Saturday night, 10pm. Immediate response. They were completely in tune with what we wanted out of this experience. We felt accompanied throughout our trip although we never met any of the India Someday staff face-to-face. This is in part why I’m traveling with their help again this fall! These folks are worth their weight in gold!!
