TRAVElLING TO SOUTH INDIA – WHERE TO GO AND WHEN TO COME
South India has always been a popular destination for travellers of all kinds. Blessed with the beaches, architecture and wildlife. Southern India though very different from the North is just as charming and a lot less chaotic. That is a beauty of India – It is huge with a lot of cultural diversity. The North of India is extremely different as compared to the South of India. Different people, different ways of life, different traditions etc.
An escape to South India!
There’s so much one could do in Southern India, you could choose to relax by the beaches in Goa and explore the ruins of Hampi (before heading off to Kerala). Click here to read more on Rachel’s two week trip across South India.
Tamil Nadu and Kerala can also be combined together on your trip to South India. You could potentially visit the backwaters, the beaches and the hill stations in Kerala. You can then travel East to Tamil Nadu, a region known for it’s stunning architecture and rich culture.
We would love to help you navigate South India in an individual, flexible and transparent travel planning process with you in control. Get in touch with us by filling out the questionnaire to start planning your trip to India

I traveled 26 days with India Someday in south India during monsoon and it was an all-over great experience. Since Iam the very first time in India, traveling alone, India Someday made it so easy to me to explore this beautiful country in an individual way. Everything went so smooth and well organised. Aliya was always there for me and I could contact her any time via whatsapp in case of any problem. Its great to know to be supported for example when you fell sick or miss the bus. The prices are very fair and transparent. The homestays they booked for me have been so nice and I even made new friendships at some of them.
Highly recommend to travel with india someday!

India Someday helped us with a perfectly executed month-long trip in India and Sri Lanka. We had ideas of what locations we wanted to visit and based on that and a few good conversations over WhatsApp, Abbas and the India Someday team put together a fabulous itinerary with varied activities (cycling, trekking, cooking classes, block printing, yoga), amazing heritage hotels, drivers/trains, and so much more. Our India stops included Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Tadoba National Park, Munnar, Kumarakom, Cochin. Our Sri Lanka stops included Kerala, Haputale, Yala National Park, and Ahangama.
They kept in touch on a regular basis, and we could contact them at any time if we needed help, had a question, or wanted to request a schedule change. This was such a great service – we had someone who was always available – and that was more than peace of mind for our month away.
We would not hesitate one minute to use India Someday again and hope we get the chance to do so!!DurhamNH
