TRAVElLING TO SOUTH INDIA – WHERE TO GO AND WHEN TO COME
South India has always been a popular destination for travellers of all kinds. Blessed with the beaches, architecture and wildlife. Southern India though very different from the North is just as charming and a lot less chaotic. That is a beauty of India – It is huge with a lot of cultural diversity. The North of India is extremely different as compared to the South of India. Different people, different ways of life, different traditions etc.
An escape to South India!
There’s so much one could do in Southern India, you could choose to relax by the beaches in Goa and explore the ruins of Hampi (before heading off to Kerala). Click here to read more on Rachel’s two week trip across South India.
Tamil Nadu and Kerala can also be combined together on your trip to South India. You could potentially visit the backwaters, the beaches and the hill stations in Kerala. You can then travel East to Tamil Nadu, a region known for it’s stunning architecture and rich culture.
We would love to help you navigate South India in an individual, flexible and transparent travel planning process with you in control. Get in touch with us by filling out the questionnaire to start planning your trip to India

India Someday helped me plan my complete two month solo trip across all of India. I contacted several companies before selecting them, and compared to the others, I was impressed by how well they listened to my needs and interests and tailored a trip exactly to my liking. They put me in hotels of exactly the type and budget I asked for, They arranged transportation from city to city- including airfare, overnight trains, and multi-day drivers. They arranged private tour guides at all of the major sites, and special excursions and walking tours that I probably wouldnt have found on my own. Every driver arranged though their company was extremely professional and safe. No one was ever late, and no connection was ever missed- in two months, that is amazing! . If i ever had trouble locating a driver at a pickup location, I could contact the team at India Someday, and they would contact him immediately and help us get connected. They were more responsive and helpful than I ever imagined that a travel agency could be. When there were snags along the way that were beyond anyones control, they scrambled to set up alternative arrangements. Throughout the trip they emailed me tickets and boarding passes, and never let anything slip. The billing was transparent and fair . Along the the way I sometimes dealt with other tour operators and saw other tourist’s difficulties, and again and again I was impressed by how honest and trustworthy this company is. Even the drivers would tell me that compared to other companies, India Someday is ethical and respectable. I really cannot say enough positive things about how helpful and how professional this company is. My trip to India was Incredible, and I truly could not have managed it without India Someday.

Clear recommendation for India Someday Travels.
We travelled spontaneously and therefore needed support in booking and planning our trip. Communication was fast and flawless. The itinerary, receipts etc. were visually very appealing and everything was transparent.
The booked accommodations we liked very much. We also had a driver, this was the best for our stay and also super managed. One of our highlights: We were able to visit the team at the office for lunch in Mumbai! It felt like being together among friends. A very pleasant , cozy atmosphere. We then spontaneously joined the India Someday Travels Food Tour as well as Temple Tour of Mumbai, which is both very much.
We continued our journey via Pune to Kerala. There we visited Fort Kochi, backwaters by houseboat, Alleppey and finally we went to Marari Beach.
We are convinced of India, nature and people. We would book again anytime with India Someday Travels and hope to come back to India one day.Barbara F
