WINTER SEASON IN DAMAN AND DIU (OCTOBER TO FEBRUARY)

The winter season is the best time to visit Daman and Diu. The temperatures range from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius , without any scorching heat. Since Daman and Diu are near the Arabian Sea, there is a windy and pleasant climate with calm waters. This means it is a great time to venture outdoors and enjoy some water sports and activities. 

There is a lot to explore in Daman and Diu during winter. You can go beach hopping at Ghoghla Beach, Devka Beach, Nagaon Beach, Jampore Beach, or Jallandhar Beach and enjoy camel or horse rides. In the evening, you can watch the sunset and then enjoy the nightlife at the shacks.

The fishing season starts at the end of September, so this is the prime time to get fresh and authentic seafood!

SUMMER SEASON IN DAMAN AND DIU (MARCH TO MAY)

Humidity is high, and temperatures range from 27 to 39 degrees Celsius from March to May in Daman and Diu. This is the off-season, making it a perfect way to get accommodations and travel arrangements at affordable rates. 

This is also the best time for water sports like parasailing, jet skiing, windsurfing, snorkelling, and other fun water activities at Nagaon Beach and Jampore Beach. You can also go speed boating in the ocean.

Since this is the off-season, the beaches are not very crowded, giving you space to unwind and relax. At dawn and dusk, Nagaon Beach and Devka Beach offer breathtaking views.

It is advised not to venture out in the afternoon as it is very humid at the time. Go sightseeing and exploring in the early mornings and late evenings instead.

This is an off-season for tourism, so you can get hotels at affordable rates. It is advised to carry raincoats and umbrellas if you plan to venture out in the monsoon.

Diu Airport is the nearest airport to the city and has connectivity to major cities.

By rail
