“Join Payal Biyani for a fun and intimate cooking classes at her humble abode. Jaipur Home Cooking is Payal’s brainchild and she uses it to share her love and expertise of cooking traditional Indian dishes with anyone who finds it all fascinating. A Home Cooking Course with Payal generally takes about 3-4 hours. In that time, guests are taught to prepare everything from the most famous Indian snacks to mouth-watering desserts.

At the beginning of every session, Payal and her guests go to the local market to buy some fresh produce. The 3 course meal covers a starter, a main course dish and a dessert. The classes teaches everything from cooking Samosas and Dal Makhni to Rasgullas. Payal is always open to suggestions, so guests can learn whatever they like. Guests also get to learn about the intricacies of Indian cuisine and the different kinds of flavour each ingredient holds. At the end of the class, the food is served for the guests and they are also handed out recipes of the food they cooked. “

As a nutritionist, I love to do food tours in the cities/countries I visit. I have done over 8 that I can remember. Payal's tour was the most professional and informational yet. A perfect way to pick the best and most interesting food experiences from among the thousands of food stalls available. You could not ask for a more warm and charming guide than Payal. I would feel confident recommending any class or tour that she is offering. And for people who are nervous about it, we sampled at least a dozen different type of foods with no GI distress:-). Also, I never felt unsafe during or traveling to/from the market (and I am a solo female traveler).
