The food here left us speechless (especially the pizzas) and it’s a very nice walk across the orchard getting to know its fruit trees, which include pears, peaches, plums, cherries, apples and more.

Next is the beautiful city of Shimla, just under a 3-hour drive from Seetalvan Orchard. Day 3-5   

Day 1: Once you’re in Amritsar, the last thing you need to worry about is food. Spend the entire day discovering the many flavours of the city. Once done, make a trip to the Wagah border when you can witness the border ceremony.

Day 2: A visit to Jallianwala Bagh is an absolute must when you’re in Amritsar. From here one heads to the mass lunch that’s held every day at the Golden Temple. You can stay there till the night and see the temple from a whole new perspective.

Day 3: The last day of your stay in Amritsar can be spent doing the two best things one can do in the city – eating and shopping. Relish the street food while you’re at it and spent the day around the markets and picking up some clothes, jewellery, etc for the rest of your trip

Day 9-10   

Day1: Shoja is blessed with a thickly wooded mountainside with forests of conifer, toosh and deodars. Start your day by heading to the Waterfall point. Post this, head to the Tirthan Valley, about 30kms from Sojha. The Valley has the Tirthan River, which is famous for Angling during specified times in the year. A permit and appropriate gear will be required for this.

Day2: Spend your day in the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO Heritage site. Here, you can also enjoy a hike or indulge in an overnight camping exprience. Shoja is also a haven for birdwatchers. The area is is full of Monals, Indian blue robin, nutcracker, ultramarine flycatcher etc. If not this, Shoja also offers numerous day treks - you could trek either to Serolser Lake or Raghupur Fort.

Day 11-11   

Day1: Start your day off by heading to Narkanda. This town offers breathtaking views of the valley around. Either head to the Narkanda Peak and temple or the Hatu Peak that has a beautiful wooden temple at the top. Both these locations are at a high-altitude surrounded by dense forests. You can also visit the Seetalvan Apple Orchard and learn how apples are grown while you pick one right off the tree to eat! We then suggest you walk through an abundance of Pine and Deodar trees to the 146-year old St. Mary's church in the village. The village and church are the setting for one of Rudyard Kipling’s short stories, called ‘Lispeth’. Don't forget to drink hot tea and eat a bowl of delicious maggie at any small roadside stall that you come across!

There are many ways to get to Shimla, but taking the famous Kalka-Shimla train is by far the best way. The train rushes past evergreen trees, climbing up towards Shimla, as the sea of green grows larger and larger. Day 12-13   

Day1: Start off by enjoying the Kalka-Shimla toy train. Visit the Jakhu Hill, said to be the highest peak in Shimla and the Jhakoo temple. Head to The Ridge, located in the heart of the 'British Summer Capital' that has everything, from shops selling exclusive artefacts to the spectacular view of the snow-capped mountain ranges set against an orangish hued sky. Visit the gothic Christ Church, the second oldest church in North India.

Day2: Spend time at the Rashtrapati Niwas or the State Museum followed by Mall street or Lakkar Bazar. The bazaar has a long stretch of shops on either side with some of the finest woordwork artefacts and is a good place to pick souvenirs and gifts. If you plan your trip around winter, it also has an open air skating rink.
